 The "Obelix" is a container cargo ship that was originally made for a civillian role but diversed to L.E.G.O. Starforce. So its only got "soft" skins but that's no problem as it is used in Inland-sea route of solar sysetem. <comment> The shape may look very standard for a "zero gravity world" freighter. I wanted to make this kind of ships with my own hand. It needed a carefull constructing for the main frame not to be collapsed by its own weight (because we live under the gravity). The cross section of the frame has the strong triangular form using technic beams. The cargo containers can be easily snapped on and off the peg holes of the beams. |
