0136~:AIRPLANE MUSEUM 2

The series continued from No.0122, with the planes made in same scale.
This series is all warplanes from the WW2 period.

0136: Northrop P61 Blackwidow

Large American night fighter. I always liked the double tail shape and the gun turret.

0137: Grumman TBF Avenger

Can make wings transform into folded position.

0138: Boeing B17 Flying Fortress

Do you remember a story in an omnibus movie produced by Spielberg, which a cartoonist did a duty in the "birdcage" gun-turret?

0139 Boeing B29 SuperFortress

The body is 3 studs wide. It is big in standard those days but so small when compared with today's Boeing B747.

0140 Avro Lancaster B3 Dambuster

A strange bomber that makes bomb jump over the water surfave
It was a hard job to express the camouflage pattern by Lego.

0141 Mitsubishi "Betty" with suicide plane

Most popular large bomber in Japan.
It was used as a mother plane for the kamikaze-attack rocket plane in last year of the war. In this model the rocket can be attached to the body of Betty.

0142 Nakajima "kate"

This is a torpedo attacker. One of the three types of planes that attacked Pearl Harbor.

0143 Aichi "Val"

A dive-bomber that attacked Pearl Harbor.
Please see here for the Zero fighter.

0144 Mitsubishi "Dinah"

Japanese recon plane with flushy design and high speed average.

0145 FockeWolf Ta152H

A long nosed German fighter with supercharger.

0146 Junkers Ju87 Stuka

Famous German dive-bomber. I hope I could make it smarter especially the wings...

0147 Heinkel He162

The last mass produced German fighter during WW2, carring a single jet engine.
